Patricia Santistevan's  story

In December 2003, I was diagnosed with stage 3 C Ovarian Cancer which had metastasized to all my internal organs. Initially I was given one-two years, and here I am 4 1/2 years later! I've had three surgeries, two of them major, four reoccurrences, and twenty-five chemo's. Last year in Jan. when I finished another chemo session, I asked my doctor what my prognosis was and he said I had one year left, maybe two with more reoccurrences. Well, I did have another occurrence since then but it's been a year and a half later and I'm in another remission. My last PET scan showed complete resolution (no trace of cancer). The doctors did not expect me to have another remission and have told me that I've beaten the odds. I attribute my healing to God's grace and prayer.
